Successive Manly Semi Appearances

For older Manly fans the current era is hard to take with no appearances in end of season games since 1998.

What is the longest unbroken stretch of successive semi final appearances?

What year did it start and what year did it finish?

How many years did Manly miss the semis between 1968 and 1998?

Semis were five teams in those years and yet we were virtually permanent fixtures for 30 years.

really since becoming manly again after that nrth eagles  disaster & after we got rid of sharpe(the most fukd coach to ever coach a manly side..i laughed when melb named him defense coach for 2005 :D) our stats arent too bad  .. we already on 5 straight..
