    Tom and Jake

Seibold got hammered but made the right call and played Tom at centre for a couple of weeks, Tom got his game fitness back without running 7km a game at fullback. That would be a good blueprint going forward, if Tom gets injured bring him back a week or two in the centres and then fullback...

    Sack Seibold Immediately

Ennis is our attacking coach, believe Dymock is our defensive coach, if Siebold and Ennis are smart they get Dymock some extra help now. If Ennis wants to be the head coach potential in 27 you could make your job easier by getting the defensive structures working in 26.

    NSW Cup 2025

Think we will see a few new blokes come thru and the 30 year old cheaper signing won’t need to happen now that DCE and the Turbo’s contracts are off the books or reduced. Oka and Bully got upgraded and you would think Hoppa will get an upgrade but should be some cap free for 2027.

    Will Croker be back?

I think signing Turpin is a good indication that Croker isn’t in the first teams plans for next year. Love to see him in a coaching role in Flegg or SG, tough bugger and played both half’s and forwards positions in his career, knows the game.

    2026 recruitment & retention

If we are thinking of signing Klemmer we should have resigned Sipley as similar player and dollars. Disappointing Jazz is going he looked good at lock and means Jake could play prop. Paseka, Tak, Jake and Bully not a bad prop rotation, Navale cover injuries. We need a hooker and a lock that can...

    NSW Cup 2025

I remember seeing Foran first play for Manly and he started in the centres and I thought this guy goes alright and has a nice pass. Looking at next season when an injury comes around you could blood Walsh in the centres next to Fogarty or Brooks and let him roam a bit out if hooker or either...

    Team next week

Kolua at fullback as he is most dangerous player on the field, turbo running 5/8. Brookes 14 to interchange with Simpkins. Navle has to be in the side and give Jake rest of the season off to be ready for next year.

    Sack Seibold Immediately

Possibly we need a bit of that Penrith DNA added in, Dogs, Tigers have melded it in and you can see the results. Any chance we could grab a defensive coach from Penrith as an assistant coach along with a player or two like Scott Soreson to show the expected standard.

    Garrick

Possibly unpopular but what if Turbo retires end of 26. You then have Hoppa or Koula at fullback. Garrick is your next in for me. That’s 3 of your back 5 with Saab/Talua/Willet/Clayton options for the other 2 spots

    Lehi the 1 Turbo centre

Love Turbo but I think a 2 year $500k extension would be generous.

    2026 recruitment & retention

Tino not a dream, our marquee players are DCE (moving on), Jake has some cap relief as long serving player, Turbo and Oka. 2027 Jake and turbo on reduced deals and a big signing can happen

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Next year is an interesting year, DCE era over, Fogarty a $700k half rather than your $1.2m DCE. Tom and Jake motivated for new contracts.
  13. 3

    Garrick

I think Turbo has to play centre going forward and play a roving 5/8 role whilst there. Garrick to stay on wing and move to fullback if injuries. Talua gets first dibs at a vacant centre or wing position.
  14. 3

    Lehi the 1 Turbo centre

With Oka out m, Turbo is a big body defending with DCE. DCE is not there for defence and I notice that Turbo apart from one brain snap defends well there.

    Jake T.

Jake gets $400k cap free as long term player next year so the club fans can rate him as a $400k player rather than $800. At this stage of his career he would be a great 30 min prop and then have a spell. Club needs to find that younger 13 and Jake can give great service. Jake can be our Nathan...
