    Caleb Navale

Reminds me of a young Owen Cunningham. He looks busy and capable

The Jazz thread ... all that Jazz

Agree his leg speed and post contact mtrs made a massive difference in getting a roll on. I seriously hope they keep him in that role for and don’t revert back to 80 mins of jake

    Manly Needs a Full Reset

I guess we’ll know more when the contracts of Jake, toff, lodge, brown, Jazz, James, Waddell, Taukeiaho etc expire. If we persist with this lumbering, slow paced forward pack they either have no better options or no idea.

    The Elephant in the room

On the proviso they have a plan I’d rather they spend 1 or 2 years at the bottom of the table than continue this charade of weapons and premiership windows. We are so far off it’s embarrassing. Stop overpaying local juniors for fear of fan backlash. Be respectful but hard nosed. Think Bellamy...

    The Clean Out 2025 Edition

Watching bulldogs, could you seriously argue they have more talent? I doubt it. Instead they play with real intent and energy. They never stop. Not much of it is pretty but it’s effective. Manly couldn’t be more different if we tried. Manly hope the opposition lets them play pretty. The Dogs...

Won’t win another game this year!

Put a line thru this mob. What team would seriously worry about playing against the manly forwards. Slow and ineffective. We are bottom 4. Hopefully resulting in a clean out.

    Galvin

A big blonde front rower who played 1 or 2 FG games back in 1998. Imagine he’d be massive now

Lack of Mobility in the pack stood out

Spot on, sadly our lack of forward mobility and speed with and without the ball, will contrast spectacularly against a sharks side who play quickly. Love Jake but watching his hit ups feels like someone hit the slow motion button. Workers and rushing defence ala dogs will beat a flashy backline...

    Massive turning point today

Encourage him to play in the uk. Been a fantastic clubman and a great human but just too slow. Our new defensive coach.

    Massive turning point today

Slight difference in assignment. The dogs had few stars or long term deals. They could cull with impunity and cherry pick tradesman to compliment the Penrith guns they brought in. They are not only well coached but they are balanced. Manly have invested heavily in a few who are not good enough...

Game Day: Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

This squad has been dishing up this crap up for a decade. We’ve had 4 coaches. Replacing another coach won’t help

Game Day: Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Seen this movie too many times. Time to stop pretending we are contenders. We aren’t, need workers and forwards with grit aka Bulldogs.

Game Day: Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Flat track bullies. zero chance unless we get all a lot of ball and the opposition lets us play pretty

    The Daly Cherrygraph

I don’t think we are winning the comp with this or next years team. Our problem is the balance of the squad. Too much being paid to too few. The storm mastered the expensive spine, surrounded by workers. Manly just haven’t got the same value from DCE, Tom and Jake. We need a wider spread of...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Seriously they’ve had decent squads but limited due to the size of his pay. He was never prepared to take a cent less.
