    The salary cap era has been replaced by the third party agreements. It is a scourge on the game as it really relies on the ingenuity & network of the owners. Politis is the king when it comes to third party persuasion.

    We have a pack that commands no respect, we couldn't score a point in the second half against wooden spoon favourites & we were almost at full strength against an under strength wooden spoon favourite. That about sums up the squad at the moment.

    Kiwi Eagle, re your last paragraph. I know exactly how you feel. I've been a supporter since 1972 & had never waivered in my support or advocacy for the club & its personnel. In recent years I have struggled to garner that same passion regardless of a win, draw or loss. Something needs to change.

    That was a listless effort from the sea eagles with much of the play looking like casual training drills. Tommy looked like he is running at about 80%. Again, I see no improvement from last year under Seibold.

    Despite his innovative moments over his career, he does seem to be lacking the the 'edge' that stands some coaches above others in todays game. Doesn't look like it will be a happy ending any time soon.
