Who else is going to Melbourne?

What is the pre game pub of choice of the travelling supporters? Got my seat in bay 9. Can't wait.

What made you a Manly Supporter?

I have a similar story in a way. I was holiday in country NSW as a young fella and wanted a league jersey. At that stage I didn't have a team, but I had saved my pocket money to get one. The girl in the shop tried selling me a Parra jersey as they had just won their third flag in a row (as...

    Beaver and Cliffy

Exactly. While Des and the boys are together for one last crack at it, Toovs has 12 months to put his support team in place.

    Greatest Ever Manly Team 2006

Can't stand them. League season basically finished down here when they got knocked out. People down here ask me why I don't follow the storm. Followed Manly since the early '80s, couldn't change even if I wanted to.

    Greatest Ever Manly Team 2006

Yes a very Victorian, or AFL term there. Must remember which code I am posting about:cool: Can't stand Rugby, but do love my league. Well Manly to be exact:D

    Greatest Ever Manly Team 2006

Five years have passed since this team weas selected. Since we have won two flags, played in three Grand Finals and made the finals in every season. Does anyone think any of the current side would force their way in and in place of who?

Premiers Merchandise Now Available from MWSE

Can anyone explain why there is a larger array of premiership goodies available online at goodscore than on the club website? I'd much rather do all my purchasing directly from the club but they don't have as large a range

Des Hasler - Thanks for the memories :)

Hopefully we continue to treat Dessie like the Manly legend he is and act with class and dignity when he comes back as an opposition coach. No matter what has happened, I'm sure when the dogs knife him in a few years, his heart will still be at Manly. Then he can sit with us and watch Toovs...

    Matty Johns on MMM

Keep Des for 2012, however announce the appointment of Toovs for 2013 now. This way, hopefully, the players and Des bond together tight for one last crack at it. And everyone knows what the plans for 2013 are so Toovs can get about sorting his roster.

There is always a silver lining

Here, here. I was shocked when I read it, but at the end of the day Dessie has given 8 great years service as a coach (hopefully 9) and he moves on. Bring on 2012, then 2013 with a new coach and a new era starts.

    Foran Quote

Is he going to follow Des around like Boyd does with Bennett.

    Des - Merged Thread

Disappointing and the timing sucks, but how many coaches, (apart from Bennett) stay at a club for 10 years these days. Des is a dual premieship player and coach. A club legend. Always will be. The board didn't handle the Zorba situation well, but facts are we needed a new, more dynamic...

    Strong up front in 2012

As long as we keep a big, strong pack ahead of DCE and Foran, the sky's the limit.

    Hopoate's Eels move dismays Hasler

Exactly how I read the article myself. Bull**** headline. Hoppa's moved on, we will as well. $850k a year?? They'll have Hoppa, Hayne, Sandow and 20 other park footballers on their list:P Thanks for 2011 Will. Here's hoping that you and Parra fall flat on your arse from here on in.
