    Blues Utility for 2024

Last year NSW were caught short defensively by having a specialist half on the bench. Qld has the luxury of Hunt as a fill in hooker, a great player and a great defender. My question is who is our best option as a utility ? Should selection be weighted on defense 70% attacking prowess 30% or the...

all Hail Froggy .... 100 milestone

I think your right on the 40/20’s, i’d love to see his strike rate on attempts. I do know one thing, there are a lot in front of him in the error count in the last couple of years that are on the paddock half the time, touch the ball a third of the time and make a quarter of the tackles.

AI article:It may be the end of Josh Aloiai’s season.

Careful what you wish for , Josh needs to get the errors out of his game and learn to do some hard yards IMHO. If the two of them left it frees up 1.45m thats serious firepower to what they jointly contribute.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Reality is a bitch to be endured by us all , fat contracts and hangers on wont teach him a thing. Personally i would love him to go to the UK for a year , find himself. Sam Burgess and no distractions might be just what he needs.

    The honest thread !!

Great utility players are rare and seldom appreciated i reckon. Aubusson at the Roosters, Des back in the day at all levels, Hunt for Qld. All solid defenders that can kick. Always in the last frame trying to hold up a try. Competitors at the core and can read a game.

    Tony Mestrov, new CEO

I am genuinely perplexed how any CEO could tolerate the leader of the rainbow boycott to be still at the club. Furthermore how he could approve an 800k plus extension to for a player who has underperformed for two years.

    Toafofoa Sipley

He is maturing in to a real force, hope he finishes well next week. He could be anything by mid next year.

    2023 Roy Bull.

OK ,rules are one name and why, no interest in negative crap, we have a very good group. My vote goes to Croker again, stays in his lane, no errors. Aims up when we need to defend, and has more results per kick than any other player. Seems to be in most reviews from the bunker, either holding...

    Can't have it both ways!

Way overdue to cut with potential talk, have a look at some individual results for the last two years, who is contributing and who is not. We have some real genuine competitors in this team, he isn't one one of them. The next step after blowing 800k on a dud is not being able to pay enough for...

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Jesus wept , anyone on here who thinks his contract extension was acceptable or in any way in the best interests of the team is delusional.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

A big talented junior that shredded his age group. Been in the big time more than long enough, a total waste of 850 of our salary cap. "There needs to be an enquiry".

100 for the frog in maroon and white.

Another century for Froggy , after chalking up a ton in the NRL last weekend, he adds 100 for the Eagles tomorrow night against the Roosters (one start Raiders). Let's hope the winning trend continues !
