Navren Willett- Looking Good - tries of 2025

I've liked what I've seen of him. The way he moves reminds me of Justin Hodges; not fast but awkward and makes good metres.

It might be a question of the opportunity cost; are we better to stockpile depth in the backs or spend that money on forwards?

    Jake T.

I think we would do well to have an Eels style rebuild rather than persist with the idea we are in a premiership window. A coach can only do this with an understanding from the board that short term results won't be great. Ryles seems to have a mandate to restructure the roster (and playing...

    Sack Seibold Immediately

I don't know whether seibold is a good coach or not, however when comparing our roster to the roosters, it is pretty clear we were over-matched. On paper, there was no way we should have won that game.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

His short line drop-out restart doesn't gets sufficient height for anyone to contest the ball. It usually goes straight to an opposition player 20 metres from our line. Maybe someone else should try this kick?

    3. Lodge - showed real intent especially in defence 2. Jake - typically hard working in defence and seems to be really focussed on leading the defences line speed in recent weeks 3. Garrick - good game with limited opportunities

    The Daly Cherrygraph

For every successful cherry-Evans 40/20 there are 2 or 3 failed attempts that don't find the sideline and hand good field position to the opposition.

    Ethan Bullemor

Bullying rarely gets put on his back in attack, and regularly finds his stomach for a quick play the ball.

Game Day: Manly V Souths [Round 18, 2025]

Really liking our linespeed in defence.

    June 30 Deadline

It's a bad deal only with a short term perspective. It seems clear that JA has a low ceiling, and is unlikely to develop into a regular first grader. On the other hand, we have acquired a young prop forward with some potential. It sounds like a good deal for 2026 and beyond.

    Tallyn Da Silva

I think he had a poor game. Not impressed.

    Post-Game Discussion Knights V Manly [Round 14, 2025]

The starch went our of our defence as fatigue set in. Croker and jurbo (and others) were defensively oustanding in the first 40 minutes; great line speed and solid initial contact. Once that fell away the knights found some momentum.

    Clayton Faulalo

He is skilful and ethusiastic, but he makes almost no metres when rucking it out from our own end and regularly gets rag-dolled. Whilst he is skilful, he isn't (yet) 1st grade standard in this part of his game.

    3. jazz - the best defender in the team tonight. Wholehearted and heavily involved. 2. Hoppa - very impressive and an exciting glimpse of the future 1. DCE - Excellent game management.

Game Day: Manly V Broncos [Round 13, 2025]

I don't think there is a manly player who has worked as hard as jazz tevaga in 2025. He is everywhere in defence. 110% effort.
