    Yes, you are right. The games I went to, I thought DCE looked bog average in the Q Cup and couldn't understand any of the hype. I thought the five eight looked head and shoulders above DCE and yet he didn't even get to be a regular first grader. Who knows which players are going to step up!

    Exactly. Momentum shifted against us after Sipley and Lodge came on and the rest started to tire. We started to build a more mobile pack of forwards during the off season but are back playing a pack stacked with plodders again which has been our biggest problem in recent years.

    I remember we were in third row watching the wolfman sprint past. The atmosphere was fantastic. I reckon it was a turning point in the season where we went from going OK to real premiership contenders. A night to remember.

    Strange team - not many of the usual suspects selected. No Faulalo, Abbey, Condon, Lehmann, Brown, Woods, Dias, Parker, Fulton, Sykes, Uesele etc.. Wondering if it will be a different side that actually runs out.

    Klemmer being shopped…

    Seibold has done a lot of work to try and make our pack more mobile. We need more moblie forwards with stamina rather than impact forwards like Klemmer.

    A mobile middle forward, plays big minutes and makes very few errors. Exactly what we need!

    Clayton Faulalo

    He looks like a good footballer. Really hope they can give him a development contract or some incentive to stay at the club. Seems to be fairly quick, consistent and has more football smarts than Paulo and Talau.

    Yes, Faulalo looks like a footballer, Talau not so much. I reckon there may have been days this season when Blacktown could of possibly beat our first grade team. There is a lot of potential in the Backtown squad, many of whom will move on, at the end of the season, looking for an opportunity...
