    I expect we will need forward depth by round 10 so Lodge has time to get his fights out of the way and to build form and match fitness in reserve grade. If he gets fit I see this as a solid depth signing.

    What I enjoy the most about trials is seeing how the newbies go. I agree with the established players with a history of injuries not playing all trials but there is nothing like match fitness and you don't get that watching.

    That try was disallowed because the lead runner ran straight into the defender and made contact with him with his hands when he had the momentum running at pace. The lead runners need to learn to run into gaps not straight into defenders. I though they got that one right.

    Ola needs to be given the ball early or when he is in space in full flight not when he is flat footed and then running straight into defenders. Part of that requires him to learn to be a good hole runner and the other part is for the man inside to offload quickly and put into holes.
