I can’t stand Voss. Always gets excited when someone scores against us. Warren Smith is the best commentator around and Greg Alexander the best comments man and expert out there. We’d get an even crack with those 2. Sadly the others are all very painful to listen to, especially when we’re playing.
I said a couple of weeks ago I just want to make the 8 when everyone was expecting the top 4. I suppose we’re still a chance but the slimey eels have an easy run home and will finish above us.
I expect a win against the tigers (especially coming off a loss) and that will ensure a finals spot...

The last 2 years when we were playing well coincided with Siro’s form. When he went down with season ended injuries, our performances went to crap.
Very happy he’s been able to stay in the field and get consistent good footy.
Playing after a golden point win is always a challenge. Teams seem to be physically and mentally drained or just flat the following week.
I know Des will have them up for it but Newc are desperate and I’m worried about this game.

There’s no favours for us tonight of course but I’m more worried about the other nrl favs in Newcastle next week.
I’m assuming a 9-4 penalty count next week (2 to us in the last 2 mins) and a possible Newcastle win as the nrl need the crowd numbers in the semi’s.

There was a game at belmore last year between the dogs and titans and there were only few hundred supporters on the hill and the grandstand was about 1/3 full.
