    Still not sure what people are seeing wrong in Des. Had us in a prelim last year, got hammered by injuries and protests this year. Give him another season, I think we’ll be surprised once the full squads back in deck for a decent period.

    There is a fair difference. Ones been accused and the others been found guilty. Huge difference. I get your point but I can’t agree that flogging blokes like Brett Stewart is as fair as allowing May to play finals.

    This could all be a bit of a beat up. Last time I checked most dressing room doors weren't transparent. Unless Des hung a sign on the outside saying No Penns its hard to draw a conclusion that he locked a specific person out of the sheds and didnt just lock the door to stop media and the like...

    I think most people see someone willing to stand down from important games as not 100% on board. If true that he has also asked for a release then there is your confirmation and I see no point in holding onto a player who doesn't want to be at the club and has shown a history of strike action.
