    Surely Funa or Morgan is going to come in at Fullback with Walker to centre and Parker to the farm. Then Foran will ride the bench with Cust to start at 9, Croker to the farm and Schuster to start at 6..... Surely that's his plan..... It's all just a ploy to effectively name the same team right?

    Probably a bit harsh on Walker considering he was injured most of the season and in positional flux. But with depth coming through I do agree this is the year he needs to perform or he'll be off to find another team.

    Based on injuries and form from Training and Trails I'd like to see the below. I suspect Harper will be replaced by Funa with Garrick on the wing. I also expect Foran in 6 with Croker at 9 and maybe Schuster getting the 17. Forwards will likely be the same old same resulting in our line bending...

    Curious on your objections to eliminating the cap? There would still be a cap to keep the field competitive. Only reason I suggest this is that it all but eliminates cheating the cap (under table payments) and the excuse you can't release the figures due to player privacy.

    I agree with your theory and assessment, but also think cap space is a finite thing for Manly (not so much other teams). With money invested elsewhere, I'd argue a significant upgrade to winger isn't a major priority / possibly sadly.
