Got to agree with that Dan. Melbourne/St George played some really boring football to win their premierships(*). We're playing some reallly entertaining football, great backline moves and some risk taking plays rather than relying on the other team to make a mistake after boring them to death...
That was when they showed the Warriors getting off the bus on the tv screens. It was pretty even in support and noise but it was pretty friendly as well. I hope they can win the premiership sometime, just not against us!
I agree Mrinvisible it was a great day. The Warriors fans were great too, they really supported their team through the day and didn't go birko when they lost. I thought it was My Smart when they showed the Warriors getting off the bus. They'll be a team to be reckoned with in the next few years.
UI don't know Mark, I thought they were good against the Broncos apart from braindead offloads and dropped balls. Heremia (sp) is very good running from dummy half as well. I think we'll win it out wide more than up the middle.
They do have a very good foward pack though. Not saying I'd swap but they make planty of metres when they're not dropping the ball. They were all over the Storm last week.
I want the Warriors tonight because I think it would be a better GF to watch. The Storm are a pretty dull team to watch, the Warriors are all over the place and can produce some exciting football.
I can't see T Rex getting a grade 3. It looked pretty bad but not intentional. We'd really miss him in the GF. I didn't think there was much in what Matai did so he should be ok.
i don't think he'll be able to play anywhere near his best. I'm sure he'll lift the other players but he won't be taking on the line and he'll be a liability in defence.
Equal favourites by the looks of it but I'm not surprised, well be strong favourites to beat the Broncos and favourites in the GF. Not bad odds really.
If he plays there's no need to do anything illegal, a hard tackle will remind him of the pain he's in. He's been a great player over the years and I hope there's more like him but he won't be able to play with the pain.
