    Croker

Shame, with Paseka injured I think we really need Croker out there so that Tevaga can go back to being a bench forward. Our front row depth looks awful this year.

Won’t win another game this year!

Once we get Turbo back we will be ok. But man do we miss Paseka... I wish we could just release DCE now so that we could sign some forwards. Imagine if we could have signed Terrell May when he became available.

    Galvin

I agree if any member of our coaching staff should be on the chopping block right now it's Dymock

    Galvin

Guess which one is half the price though. We need forwards

    Galvin

If we did sign him I'd only be excited if we had also signed some very good forwards too. I would prefer the club to invest into Walsh and Large and keep the cap space free. The way Galvin is leaving the Tigers has DCE 2.0 written all over it and I can do without all that.

    Galvin

Of course, he's currently playing for the Tigers.

He just needs to go throw his club under the bus on live tv now and the whole saga will be complete.

    Post-Game Discussion Sharks V Manly [Round 6, 2025]

Full strength we would have won that. But from the parts I watched we looked pretty insipid.

    NRL Games [Round 6, 2025]

That young halfback for the Roosters has a phenomenally accurate kicking game, even under all that pressure.

    NRL Games [Round 6, 2025]

The roosters targeted Taupau in that set and eventually broke him. Can't say I miss him.

    NSW Cup 2025

Not surprising. Our NRL side has had to call up some of their better players.

    Jamal Fogarty

    I don't think it's a bluff

    Jamal Fogarty

I doubt they would care that much. They will have had this year with him.

    2026 recruitment & retention

Players that are worth keeping get extended on longer deals long before their contracts are up, with the exception of players who want to test the open market

    Joey Walsh

Last I heard Large was currently injured.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

I wouldn't say they have gone backwards but I agree they haven't gone forwards as much as I would like. That's why I'm not sad to see the back of DCE. We can't compete with the top sides with a Temu forward pack.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Newcastle lost half their bench in the first minute and defended bravely with no ball in the first half, the Dogs basically had the game won through circumstance.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Like it or not, other than Hasler in 2021 we have looked our best under Siebold in the period ever since Tooves got the flick

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

Yeah I think we are a stronger side with Croker at 9, Simpkin at 14, and Tevaga for Waddell

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Storm [Round 5, 2025]

I am ready to see the back of DCE, for the reasons you listed. I don't want to lose Jake and Tom, they just need to take large pay cuts.
