    TBH I'm not totally sold on Koula as a fullback. Sure it gives him room to run, but against better defences that can be negated. His first 2 games at fullback for Manly in 2022 saw scores of 40–6 and 48–6. We got hammered 2 weeks running by Cronulla at Brookie and Canberra in politician...

    IMO the sin binning of Reece Robson and Izack Tago in last nights early game make a mockery of the game. They were a joke. Look, I get wanting to protect the health and wellbeing of the players and getting rid of head high shots is one way they are going about it. No one wants players injured...

    Yep, that's true too. The true blessing in all of this is that we won't have that $1.3m per season noose on the salary cap. As good as DCE has been, his contract has been a huge burden on the make up of the squads over the past decade.

    I'm not sure DCE would have ever led us to another Premiership. But I'm damn sure Fogarty won't. Oh he is a good player. I'm not going to say any different. He wouldn't be in the NRL if he couldn't play. But for mine he's not the answer to taking Manly to its next Premiership win.
