    Supporter Group Behaviour

Mate, I'm not whining at all. I just object to people saying its ok for children to be around people swearing etc. I'm no saint, but I want my kids to grow up being decent kids and not dropping the F bomb every 5 seconds. When i take my son to the footy I go to the family hill area. I have no...

    Supporter Group Behaviour

I didn't say i know it all, but until you have kids you can't understand how your feelings towards abusive/offensive behaviour changes. When i was single i couldn't have cared less, but when you have kids you don't want them to be confronted with that sort of behaviour. Bad language doesn't...

I stopped reading after you said "I don't have kids". Your opinion of parents doesn't count after that.

That will do me. I hope Manly wins but I wont be part of it I am boycotting it

I know where your coming from and commentaters have said similar things. But i think there's more to it then that. Think of a few years back when if you were the dominant team you could maintain that dominance for pretty much the whole game. That has all changed now. 2 refs and policing of the...

That will do me. I hope Manly wins but I wont be part of it I am boycotting it

I feel the same frustration as others in the way the rub of the green has not gone our way this year, but i will tell you this much in regard to the state of the game. Every game i have watched on TV that hasn't involved Manly i have actually enjoyed. Sit back for a minute and think like a...

    CEO

As i said, if you want to blame someone, the fingers should be pointed squarely at the 2 owners. I agree we should get a more qualified CEO, but blaming Lowe will do nothing, the owners need to be held accountable for his appointment.

Lyon's roar at refs' dud calls

I've been saying this for a while now. Bring in a system similar to the NFL where the coach/captain has 3 challenges each half and the refs on the field look at the replays from the sideline to either confirm their ruling or over rule it. The refs on the field will always have a better grasp of...

Lyon's roar at refs' dud calls

Are you kidding Dan. Read The Sun newspaper in UK to find out how scandalous the paper's can be and how much they bag refs out.

    CEO

It's hard to blame the CEO for team performances or the state of Brookie. They are out of his control. The most important things for Lowe this year would have been major and minor sponsorships and membership numbers. So far not doing to well on both. After that would have been communication...

Some useful insights came out of today.

It was Cross that made the error. He over-read the play and slid too far. He almost ended up in front of the defender next to him...

    Our Final's scenario

I'm beating we come 7th and play the Tigers. That's the best option for us.

The Refs, Des ,choc , the rub of the green, and history

Interesting point of view jbb. I see where your coming from and i agree we have an attitude problem with refs. Not all the players do but some take it too far. I'd have to say though that Lyon is the best person in our team to deal with the refs. He doesn't often get flustered and never gets hot...

    9th spot a distinct possibility

We have the chance to come between 4th and 9th. And the way results are going i won't say we can't come 4th. We all knew deep down it was going to be too tough to beat the Dragons at their home. We are still showing good signs in our play. I can't see how we will finish 9th to be honest.

    Des Haslers impending selection headache

Hoppa for mine. I'd prefer a safe Fullback instead off an attacking one at the moment. Hoppa's positional play is actually pretty good. If Farrar is at fullback in the finals opponents will bomb us relentlessly. I get nervous every time a bomb goes near him. We have enough attacking backline...

    DCE

I'm guessing that plan B would be Lyon and Foran in the halfs and Whare at centre. Not a bad plan B in my eyes...

    Looking forward to his weekend

Yeah that looks more then likely when he will be available. I dare say that many did not think we could win the comp with key injuries and 2 rookie halfs. Not much has changed in that regard. Bringing in an untested 1/2 at this time of year is very risky. The only thing i would even consider is...

News: Eagles rookie set for Tonga debut

I reckon that you should be eligable to play Origin no matter which country you play for. It should go off where you played your first junior footy. Hoppa was born in Australia, and obviously because of his heritage he can play for Tonga, but because he was born here he should still be eligable...

    changes needed

    I like that team Ryan.

    Looking forward to his weekend

It's all easy in hindsight BH, but right now so close to the finals you can't go changing too many players around. Only injuries have forced our hand. The only change i'd make is keep Hoppa at fullback if he's fit and move Farrar to the bench to replace Bailey.

    Looking forward to his weekend

Vatuvei was on the left wing last week, so i'm guessing they will be up against each other. With the injuries we have had, you can't really blame the coach for our position. Plus we have young halfs. I'm sure we covered all this a few weeks ago.....
