    The Kieran Forum

30 year old experienced half, that can organise a team, runs hard and has won a premiership. Sure, injured physically and emotionally, but that's why he'll only be getting $400-500K. Unless we've got a chance of signing a guaranteed superstar for 10 years for the same price, that can start in...

    Albert Hopoate Jnr

No good at all. Poor bugger. From a squad perspective, had he been formally included in the 30 yet?

Taupau dropped, Isaako in line for Test debut

Kapow been dropped might be good for manly.... his manager can’t argue he’s a current international, and Dessie can make him feel loved at a time where he’s a bit vulnerable. To me that says, he stays out and has a huge season!

Who will Des let go ?

million dollar injured center.... that would be horrible.

Publishing of NRL squads to provide greater transparency

Only had a quick look, but it seems no Corey Oates for broncos, no James Segyaro for sharks and no Sutton for souths.

    Buhrer

Buhrer rarely made the knights full strength starting 13. He's not the player we need. For all the chat on here, the only player that has reallt kicked on since leaving us through all this is Gutherson, who wouldn't be playing fullback for us. And Turbo is ahead of him in every other back line...

    Nene MacDonald

The Mole is "reporting" Nene MacDonald is on the outer with the Dragons... surely he's the sort of winger Manly could use. So, we no doubt aren't remotely interested. Too busy interviewing Jason Taylor.....

It was Des all along coaching thread

That concerns me that it’s looking like Maguire to broncos.

    Kangaroos Squad

I thought Tommy Turbo was ruled out a few weeks ago? What changed...?

    Brayley Sironen

Just noticed that Brayley Sironen has been released "to join another NRL club" Any one heard anything? You'd think we'd be a chance given his brother, is he any good?

    I have some info

Im posting this, not because I’m confident of the source, but more curious to see if anyone else heard it. Word in the stands from a couple unrelated people was that Manly has approached Bennett to replace Trent, who’s heading back to the Panthers. I’d imagine it’s a case of 2+2=5, but...

    Green contract mistake.

Green for another couple of years was going to cost more than Trent H for 18months. The proof will be who, if anyone we sign for the halves next year.

    Ivan Cleary

I wouldn't of been surprised if someone at Manly had 'Cleary-Cleary/Coach-halfback 2020' as backup to Baz if he wasn't going as well as he clearly is.

    S.O.O & our team?

Listening to Triple M yesterday Peter Sterling implied that both Jake and Tommy will be in the NSW side. Particularly now with Woods out for a couple of the games, makes the case for Jake Stronger.

    Just occurred to me...

I noticed that Hastings wasn't named in NSW cup, or Cullen... that usually implies they are planned to play first grade. But I can't see them both been on the bench.

    2016 VS 2017

I reckon that's a bit harsh. I reckon he was guilty of trying to hard in context of a club with a massive injury burden. He will have a massive year and enjoy the added responsibilities of been the senior backline player.

Club announcement - Matai & Stewart to Retire

Presumably the main benefit to getting Matai and Stewart to be medically retired would be to free up cap space and room in our top 25 for more signings this year... Having said that, there aren't many available at the moment, unless it was a club trying to offload talent/coin.... anyone heard...

    Manly Rebuild 2017

I like what you are getting at; however I think you need to add some perspective as to what their potential 2017 form would be like. For instance, as much as we love Matai and Lyon with their age, injuries and lack of speed 2017 Walker would most certainly be a better option than a 2017 version...

    Matai.....

Its a left field (... or rather left centre) idea, but what do people think about Stewart moving to centre? Too slow for fullback with Turbo around, keeps him happy for the final year of the contract and doesn't leave us with a culture vacuum (assuming Stewart still gives a ****)

Time for the Bulldogs and Hasler to part ways

IF Des is sacked, no one can argue that he's the most accomplished coach on the market. Any board other than the broncos, storm and cronulla would be doing there fans and club a disservice by not considering him. As for Manly's situation; he knows the club inside and out. Has a proven success...
