    Don't know if there is such a stat "Meters out from opponents line at start of try scoring movement" but I would certainly not be surprised if there is a strong corelation between a higher average number in this stat and a higher position on the NRL competition table. If nothing else it...

    What I have read about his original 'life' contract, and it may not be correct, was that it was for 6 years with an option to extend 'in his favour'. That sounds ominously like 1) any extension is unlikely to have a pay cut involved..... and 2) the extension is therefore almost a given.

He was signed (i.e. we think he is worth having) then thrown under the bus (i.e. 'we' needed to sign the Turtle at any cost because 'we' totally stuffed up with Foreign after 'we' had completely and insanely put a knife to the spirit of the club...
