    To all you naysayers...

The turnaround from such an embarassing loss last week, the pride in defending our home ground in front of all our beloved fans, the important 2 points that sets us up for the rest of this draw till origin, everything is so good, what a WIN!

    MVP: Rd 7 v Storm

Would love to give all our middles 3 points, the main reason we won that game, but DCE was the obvious standout. 3 DCE 2 Paseka 1 Sipley

A real message this team is on the up

It was such an important performance from the boys to show us fans that had doubts after last week, that this is not the same **** from last year. We've matured and we are actually playing with some actual pride in our jersey (no pun intended), it's important, we are a different side in 2023 and...

    Weekes - need's Blacktown ASAP

Let's see how he goes for the next few games until round 11, then the Kum becomes eligible, so we will decide his fate.

    Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega

Energy and passion is there, even if it comes off as grubbiness and a bit loose, we needed that for such a clash. Will give him big confidence if he gets recalled again to the FG side.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Captain chez, we need to get this man another premiership ring. The perfect bookend to his career.

    2023 Defence Matters

We've kept two top 8 and contednding teams from last year to less than 16 points. I don't think it fully justifies that our defence is on the up, but in both those game high possession and completion from us just kept the opposition away from our end to even worry about them targeting our edges...

    Kelma Tuilagi

Is Kelma cat 1? Out for next week?

    Sipley - Impact

A very impressive performance coming into the first game of the year. Showing how much he wants to stay in this first grade team. This is the type of attitude and competition for spots we need, now Keppie is on big watch.

In Reality - forward SOFT again !

My ranking of the forward pack so far this season: 1. Jake (Has been tackling his heart out every game this year) 2. Haumole (Has been a game breaker in each match except the Penrith one) 3. Bullemore (Valuable impact of the bench for every single game, consistent performer) 4. Paseka (Has...

    Blacktown Workers ... 2023 ..

Back to back wins for Blacktown. Good stuff finally. Jake Toby obvious standout, has all the attributes to be a great fullback, still a bit error prone but he will rub that off with time. Toff humongous as well. Gordon had some good touches, just showing all of us what a real hooker likes like...

Our Wingers and their try line finishing

Garrick is a strong finisher, he makes the occasional mistake sometimes where he goes low instead of diving high (example 2nd trial game when cooper johns crossfield kicked it to him), very rare though. And Saab is a great finisher so not concerned about that.

    Truth be told

I just knew once he became a late inclusion that he was gonna dominate, he always seems to play well against us.

Draw coming up in the next few weeks

We will win one of Penrith or Melbourne, and go on a run beating tigers and titans, probably a blockbuster top of the table buildup for the magic round game against broncos but we get beaten comfortably, but we are cronulla's bogey team especially at home, so beat them and the raiders and...

    Worst thing about that performance

You could see the difference between an average hooker and an above average one with Brailey controlling the pace of the ruck and looking threatening and making sure his forwards play the ball quick, whilst Croker just doesn't have the zip, pace and the technical ability to do that. It was such...

    Worst thing about that performance

You are, because it's round 5, our only loss has been a golden point defeat against an actual title contender and we are still sitting firmly in the top 4. If you think this is still 2022 Manly, you are wrong.

    Weekes - need's Blacktown ASAP

This was his breakout game for me, I'll be honest before I didn't really get the hype because he didn't stand out in any FG games yet but yesterday's game proved his quality. A star in the making.

    The Haumole Bible.

First time he's ever made such costly mistakes, frustrating but he's young and will learn from it. Still on form the best edge backrower in the comp and it's funny how quick fans forget that because of one or two mistakes.

    Koula injured

Absolutely cannot be Harper. Hasn't even been trying to win his position back in reggies so can't just hand it to him like that. I reckon give Burbo first crack this weekend, big matchup for him in defence but he can stand his ground. If crocker fit put lawton on that bench spot.
