    Good player mishandled would be my summation. I have always rated him and should have stayed centre, not fullback, 5/8 or 14. If we did that he would be remembered as a good Manly centre.

    Great players, each and every one. For me as a young meaty fullback with some pace and agility The Wombat showed me the way. He was an absolute freak and is my favourite ever player.
