Manly were good, the refs were woeful.
Crowds are coming back because we have a great coach and the team are playing well. Everyone knows what went on before and when it's like today all the media luvvies can say all they like how bad our ground, our support and all the rest supposedly is but...
the referees today were clueless. the penalties against Manly when the slippery's couldn't get through the first set or two, or when we had momentum were pathetic..
they are not fools. They are Manly for life. They know it, the club knows it and the rest can watch and wonder.
The contacts and relationships they make will stretch beyond what they do on the field and i'd guess they know that.
boring is the word that springs to mind. He's not really someone who plays in the way the truly great players did. The media are looking for their hero in what has become a predictable and mediocre period in the leagues history..
Not someone who will be remembered fondly by the rugby league...
They are smart guys. They will stay. It's home and they are the main attraction. Gutho had to go to make his mark.
