    I can’t believe no one has pointed out that Christian Welch touched the ball in an offside position after Turbo’s pass was knocked down by Ponga. Should have been a penalty around 30 metres out and just off centre which Mitchell would have kicked to tie up the game at 20 all.

    Hooker for 2021

    Except hooker touches the ball more than any other player, and if he can’t combine with our 1,6 and 7 then it doesn’t matter what other attributes he has. I’d prefer Cust and hope Croker isn’t even in the 17.

    The only you tube video of Gibbsy I can find is a try he scored against St George at Kogarah. Would love to see more of those long range tries, and remember him carving up Norths nearly every time we played them.

    Whatever happened to Mitchell Cox? I went overseas at the start of 86 and he was in firsts and playing well. By the end of the season he was nowhere to be seen. I always thought he was a gun at Norths, with his quick acceleration and bootlace tackling style.

    Take another look, he definitely changed direction as he was aware Kikau was breathing down his neck. That’s why it’s a sin bin because a potential try scoring situation. If he had confidence that Papanhauzen had it covered he wouldn’t have moved.
