    If you compare it to Foran then it might look better. But if you compare it to a standard of what you would expect from a veteran of the game, and a long standing club captain, then it falls well short in my opinion.

    So because Foran did it in 2015 then that justifies what DCE has done now? There is a right way and a wrong way to do things, and DCE did it the wrong way for the club and its supporters. And that's a totally separate issue from him being a great player for the club which most of us agree on.

    Assuming that Arthurs is Jake Arthur? Well, he is a NSW cup level half back who does things at a glacial pace - while Fogarty is a good NRL half. Quite a big difference, I would have thought.

    What you don't discuss, is that like in the NRL and the stock market, people pay the wrong price. Why don't you ask those that bought shares a month ago? There were buyers and sellers at that point and yet the stock market has now gone down 15%-20%. Similarly you can ask Newcastle in a years...

Comparing the middles of Jake, Sio T, Sipley and Tevaga v Stefano, Grant, King and Loirero is just embarrassing, not withstanding we have some injuries in our prop rotation Its like comparing a truck to a sports car in terms of speed...

    Notwithstanding the injury history, but personally I'd still take Reynolds for 1yr $400-500k over Fogarty 3yrs at $650k.

    Where did I say I expected him to berate his players? Read my post again and tell me please. Why don't you look at the top coaches like Cleary and Bellamy when they lose to the bottom team. They take accountability and look for it from their players. Des tactics may have worked 10-20 years...

    Really happy that Mestrov can see that 2 more years of DCE is not getting us a sniff of a premiership. It hasn't for 12 years To be fair the Jake and Tom contracts are more of an issue than DCE right now, but we need a reset and letting DCE walk is the first step forward.
