    Post-Game Discussion Knights V Manly [Round 14, 2025]

i thought our experienced players were OK. The problem was the torching of our edges where we had players out of the position. It’s not like we made errors down our own end and fridges the Knights cheap ball. They’d just get to halfway and shift and open up our edge and score a great try. That’s...

    Post-Game Discussion Knights V Manly [Round 14, 2025]

I feel that this is one of those losses where people are letting their frustrations cloud their judgement. I’m gutted by the loss last night but understand how it happened. Lehi’s injury meant Ben T was in the centres, but that’s only part of the problem. That meant Corey Waddell moved to an...

Even worse tonight was Talau scoring to give us renewed hope, only for it to be ripped from us again.

Sad but I had the same experience, only it was when Garrick missed the kick to go up 18-0. At that point, I thought, those two points will be crucial and they were.

I thought Croker was much more effective in defence. He led the line speed and was hitting and sticking. Simpkin certainly wasn’t awful and I agree the left edge was abysmal.

No he got the ball to take a shot but they rushed him so he switched the point of the attack to Brooks. All we needed to do was send another forward up for 6-10m and take the shot on the next play.

    Post-Game Discussion Knights V Manly [Round 14, 2025]

I’m in the ‘injuries cost us and meant we had players exploited out of position’ camp but… What perplexed me was the field goal attempt from Brooks. There were still 17 seconds on the clock. We should have taken one more hit up and got closer to the posts. Why we kicked from 40m was beyond me...

    Mid-season Report Card

I can’t be bothered looking it up, but off the top of my head, are we not a better defensive side this year? There’s been a few games where we’ve kept sides around 6-12 points which I don’t remember happening at all last season. The Eels game was poor defensively and Storm at Brookie was a...

TBH, once he leaves Manly, I couldn’t GAF whether Dollar Cha$er Evan$ is successful or not. I don’t understand why anyone else here would GAF either, unless they are in love with him 😎

    [Resurrected] Turbo injury,healt..wait..injury - updates

The bizarre thing about Tom is he played so well for Australia at the end of last season and had speed. Then, come the start of this year…gone?! How do you lose speed in six months? Not to mention 8 tackle breaks against the Cowboys in rd.1. I think he was playing busted post-Warriors game in...

    Hass goes to market

That’s not how it works; they’re given a house with side access; after they’ve settled in, a dump truck pulls up in the backyard and the money is poured onto the lawn. The dump truck drives off, the player accesses their ‘club supplied’ rake and the cash is taken inside. The rest is Premiership...

    Run Koula Run

I love a good analysis of RL, but everything is fine with Koula and our halves IMO. We don’t need surgery with our attack to afford Koula more ball or opportunities. We simply need a forward pack that decide to turn up (particularly in defence) each week. That’s the limitation. The reason is he...

    Clayton Faulalo

To some extent but you can have a great technique and still get dragged backwards; it’s more that size is not an indication of strength. I’ve seen people with huge biceps lose arm wrestles to people half their size. It’s something to do with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular coordination...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

a lot will be said about Daly’s fine game tonight and deservedly so, but…the most impressive thing about it, was what he didn’t do, I.e go for cheap points out of yardage. Why he can’t play with control and get our team into the grind every week is beyond me. More of tonight, please Daly!

    Lehi deserves the 1

personally, I prefer Tom to be out completely than play with a niggle; I’m sick of watching a FG footballer hobble around and wince in contact and meander through games, when we need 110% from a player in such an important position. If he is not right, put him on ice until he is 100%. If he is...
