    2026 halves plan

Get another look at Trent Toelau, did well in the trial against us, he is still on a development deal at the Panthers with an upgrade next season into their 30 man squad, would be free to negotiate come November if the Panthers don’t extend him before hand.

ST OPEN - DT Super coach Comp - "Just Fun"

With all the drama at the club I luckily remember it’s that time of the week, poor score last 1095, lucky I had Haas and DCE.

What would you have paid him? Given Turbo, Jake and Haumole are taking 3 million of the cap between them?

The first twenty minutes against the Raiders was the same out the back and shift to the edges without anyone challenging the line. We were fortunate to have so much ball and Garrick barge over to get points rolling.

My thought is we are in for more media pain and scrutiny over the next month or so. How it’s all unfolding there are similarities of the past divides at the club. What is for sure we need a number 7 to come through or be in the market in getting a good one, hopefully there is no further damage...

Mestrov does appear to be a good operator that’s why it’s surprising that call to NRL 360 was made, appeared to be a reactive decision or an offer to save face somewhat. What Paul Zkent touched on in being greater divide at the club is somewhat of a concern, up until this DCE shenanigans it was...

My memory is not the best but I thought at the Donkeys the divide was with Seibold and the old boys, was there division with the playing group also.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Yes I don’t think the divide would be Mestrov and the playing group, though there is potential that there may well be something with the football department manager and coaching staff between the playing group.

I share that sentiment with journalists, though this is a podcast and he isn’t selling papers. I am not saying it’s true as I don’t know, there are some that would have potentially more insights and I am interested if they can share on touch on the status.

What was your take on what Paul Kent touched on, in regards tol larger divide at the club? It was mentioned by Kent but there is some sentiment with people involved around the club that there are friends of our CEO given jobs at the club of late.

I recently started listening to this podcast of Paul Kent, like him or not he seems to be close to the story. If you get a chance this starts at the 9 minute mark and he starts with Penn not being happy with Mestrov and suggests there are other players unhappy with how the club is being managed...

Could have been the reinstatement of Choc at the club he came back in at the end of 2023 to join the coaching staff.

    Zorba..tells it how it is

What I was surprised with was the dollar amount on Haumole, did Zorba say 1.2 million a season? That’s fairly heavy for an edge forward, I thought around the 900K for Haumole.

    Future is bright without DCE

Yes with many questions not answered this could potentially be an underlying issue of why a one year deal was discussed. Certainly is a positive way to look at it if there is a link to Galvin or any other player that has high potential.

    Future is bright without DCE

Below are snippets I took from an article with the full link below, not much to it but where there is smoke.. An insider has revealed the snub that led to Daly Cherry-Evans' decision to ditch the Sea Eagles next season - and that Wests Tigers young gun Lachlan Galvin is the player the club want...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Yes you are right, Paul Kent spoke about it yesterday on his podcast and likened this to 2015 where they were minor premiers, then 2016 came second last, in 2017 they finished second at seasons end. Hopefully I got the years right there. He spoke that they had cap constraints and rather than...

That spine looks very worthy, though I don’t know what Toby Rodwell would think after inking a four year deal last season, gun footballer and if he gets a chance this season he will be hard to drop. A bit talked about earlier this year on how the Rorters were front loading their players...

Brooks has plenty to work on, Manly have scored 17 try’s this season and on the left edge only two and they come from bombs, Hoppas take in round one and the try Bully got from the Weekes dropped ball. Brooks has plenty to do and he needs to get that left edge back to where it was last season.
