    Bell was pretty well regarded, and played Origin in his first year with us. I thought it was a pretty big deal when we signed him. Agree that Robbo and Wolfman were hardly big signings when they came across though.

    The club has made some pretty horrendous decisions in the last 10 years, but surely releasing Gutho was the worst. While we all think he acts like a dick, the bloke is passionate about his team and about winning. We could have really used more of that in our team over the last few years.

    Totally agree with this. Not sure he’s able to renegotiate his existing contract though. Would the NRL approve that? If not his next contract should be half price to pay us back. I think he is a decent person and genuinely cares about the club, and I can’t blame him for wanting to play Origin...
