    It is unlikely we would have seen the likes of Myers, Fifita, Gordon and Fainu feature so heavily under Des. He was the king of low risk, low reward options such as Burbo at centre, Funa 5/8, Taufua. Pretty sure Harper played fullback in a trial at one stage.

    Spot on. Glenn didn't play consistent first grade until he was 23. He spent 5 years playing mainly reserve grade and the odd first-grade game. Not saying any of these players will be of the same class as Glenn, but people need to remember that some players need time to develop.

    Agree with Disco and Maxta. Myers looks very silky with the ball in hand and can score a try out of nothing. Sykes looks like a no-frills, hard worker. Edit - found this video of Myers.

    Croker should start. I think Roache or Gordon both have the potential to fill the bench hooker role.
