    Dead right Mick. The standard of the match officials is the worst in the history of the game. The decisions , the six agains, the leg ups and advantages given to Souths, Melb, Brisbane and even Penrith is just astonishing.

    Angus Crichton would move the needle on us towards the top 4 assuming Dce doesn’t start to age next year. However i read in another thread that apparently we already made enquiries and he said he was not keen to come to Manly.

    He had that grade 2 hamstring injury in round one. That may have impacted his pace this year. He also had a knee reconstruction two years ago which I thought would have hampered his pace but didnt last year. This will be interesting to watch as he gets older as he is now signed until 2029.

    I like siebs however he is 1.5 years through his contract now and we were way off the pace last year and we are now sitting 11th this year so far. We have both the state of origin captains plus some very good players. Bennet would have us sitting in on top of the table.

    I told friends during the week the Penalty count would be 10 or so up to souths. The NRL can't afford to have the bunnies near the bottom for too long and hence they saw this game as one they coiuld incluence.
