It is where NSW falls down every time, that little clique of dickheads Buderus, Johns, Freddy, Barrett, Gasnier all blown out of proportion by NSW media and they believe their own hype. Johns and Freddy could play awesome but they aren't necessarily great footy brains.

Sorry I should have been more specific, it was one particular year 2008, where a few weeks earlier Kitey was playing for Australia in the Anzac test and then they left him out of the NSW squad, didn't get a run in any of the 3 games, they chose Willie Mason, Craig Fitzgibbon, Ben Cross and Brett...

Jake not making the 22 man squad is a kick in the guts for him. Only way it makes sense is if Jake asked to be left out to help Manly, otherwise it is a complete disgrace. Loyalty pick and stick is one thing, but dropping the bloke who by all accounts gave everything in a NSW jersey for Tariq...

I just block him, he offers zero.

Agree that Yeo is a better player than Jake, Yeo is outstanding at the moment, Murray is a little bit more elusive but offers pretty much the same as Jake. I honestly don't see Radley and Finucaine as any better than Jake. Plus Jake brings so much to team harmony. If the rest of the team were...

Can't agree with the anti Des sentiment on here. When you look at the garbage available in the coaching ranks, how anyone could think it is wise to move Des on now is completely stupid.

I hope Jake and Tom are seething and disgusted by this and both retire from Origin and do a Jamie Lyon. Jake may not be a starter but there is no way on his previous stints for the Blues he should be dropped, this is NSW stupidity and the reason we went into the wilderness last time. All those 2...

    Draw So Far

I agree, seasons are usually done once the miracles are needed, but hey, we live in hope.

Ha Ha, yeah ok, I forgot that. However a flight to Darwin from Townsville im guessing is pretty short.

    Draw So Far

I noticed that Cowboys first game out of QLD and they lost albeit to Penrith and Broncos have had 8 games in Brisbane out of 12 games. In stark contrast we have had 3 home games, 5 if you count the suncorp and Mudgee games. Most of our games have been in that ****ty Thursday or Friday slot. So...

    Owen Cunningham

Did anyone else notice that it was poor old Owen Cunningham with his arm in a sling being knocked over during that scuffle at Suncorp, looked like he was trying to calm things down when he knocked flying whilst they were fighting over top of him. Great way to treat a QLD legend at Suncorp. He...

Manly are missing an ANZAC opportunity

I think you misunderstood me, I said opportunity to recognise and support, absolutely nothing to do with revenue or making money off it. I understand that we had to give the sponsors the 2 alternative jerseys to the sponsors colours, but i just thought we could have incorporated something into...

Manly are missing an ANZAC opportunity

A little bit disappointing that we didn't have anything ANZAC or Armed Forces related this year. I really think we are missing a golden opportunity to recognise and support the RAAF as they have an Eagle as their official crest. I would like to see the RAAF eagle incorporated into our Jersey for...

    CEO Gone

That could have coincided with the NRL increasing the grant to allow clubs to spend 1.8mil on operations. Not trying to poo poo Humphries as he did an ok job, just adding a few facts to the debate.

To be fair, I actually think Humphries was the delivery boy for most of what Lyall Gorman had set in motion before he moved positions.

    Lack of Energy

Penrith seem to have mastered the 3 man tackle where they stop you, hold you up, then actually lift you and pull you toward your own try line. It was so effective against most of our tall backs coming out of our end on Thursday. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the new wrestle and the latest...

    Brookie upgrade

I reckon they would lose votes in Brookvale if they rebuilt the stadium, people in that area aren't traditionally Rugby League tragic's and don't like development or change. Its clear that with Barilaro and Gladys gone, the state gov have no interest in helping the Sea Eagles anymore.

Hoops are back for 2022 !

If you squint your eyes the white away jersey almost looks like it has PIONEER on the front of it. I love both Jerseys and really like the training tops. They really kicked it straight over the black dot with the gear this year. Well done to the designers.
