    Walker critics be gone

It was written that there was a deal with us just about done and dusted. Walker was probably one of our top 3-5 players in the back of the season and other clubs would now be contacting his manager. Nothing but a last minute attempt to bump up Manly's offer before he agrees. He will stay on, Des...

    Does Fainu walk back in?

I agree, Manase is at best a 2023 chance and that's 18 months away at this stage. This really has held us back as we don't know what the outcome will be and can't move forward with the squad until it's resolved.

Blessed to have the Trbojevic family in our Club

True but maybe a good thing for our future salary cap lol

    Salary cap and ladder predictability

What a contrast from the a$$wipe paper articles of Buzz and Co.

    Forwards

Spot on mate, we just didn't give it a real go and today has been deflating with the way we went out. Just disappointed after how hard the team fought to get back into contention and end the season the way we did. Usually we get dudded by the refs but no one to blame last night but ourselves.

Manly's spine is not good enough

Over the last couple of weeks he was one of our best and even last night his line speed was the best in the team. That 14 role is perfect for him

    Does Fainu walk back in?

Huge amount of time, all self inflicted' realistically will be back in 2023 at the earliest if things go his way.

    Josh A suspension ( possibly lengthy ).

If he tried to pull out it would have been less but he drove him into the ground so that probably facoted into it. Frustration last night but needs to be careful as he will develop a bit of a rep and get punished for the slightest things.

Tonight is the night the premiership window opened.

Tuipulotu is another that can possibly add a point of attack for us in the centres

    Does Fainu walk back in?

But at this stage he is ruled out for 70% of 2022 and possibly beyond that if found guilty. Might be the missing link but almost at the point that we need to move on from him, so much time out of the game and that shoulder surgery issue who knows what player he will be if he returns.

    Nothing but pride

That's true, look at where we were last yr and the other top 4 sides, first real taste of finals for a lot of these guys and will be more hungry next yr.

    What went wrong!

No happened a lot but still don't see how Des is responsible there? Anyway there is a lot of improvement to be made before next yr.

    What went wrong!

To be fair to Des the players dropped the balls, got bungled into touch on the 3rd tackle and we saw his reaction after Saab got taken into touch. Our players didn't execute his plan.

    What went wrong!

We just don't build enough pressure through set completion and end up on the back foot. Unfortunately in the finals against the best do that for most of the game and you get punished very hard. Have to put yourself in a position and earn the right to spread the ball.

    What went wrong!

Just wasn't our night, everything went wrong for us when Keppie went off and everything since then just didn't go our way. We made mistakes and they punished us and never were in the game. The young guys will take a lot from this season and will be better for it. Still proud of our boys and...

    Aaron Woods ???

For 300K on a 1 yr deal it isn't going to break the bank and could turn into a good signing with experience to pass onto our young forwards and add depth also. I know we thought Nate Miles might have become that a few years back, however Aaron has said he supported the Sea Eagles as a youngster...

    Victor the inflictor

    Haha!!!

    Victor the inflictor

Should be Victor the Pička, Jake and Tom can translate that Serbo-Croat word. Descibes him better than inflictor and rhymes just the same.
