Rugby Australia poach first NRL talent ... from head office

Whilst on Rugby, I noticed the list of Wallaby selections the other day, which included TOM WRIGHT. I didn't know, but he has 10 Aus appearancesto his name already!

The Koula Kid - First try of many !!

I have to admit that I had never seen Koula play in jnrs and I wondered why so many punters were pushing his inclusion since the start of the season (and late last year) I now acknowledge your insight and truly believe that, injury free, he will be one of our best.

    Can we beat a top 3 / 4 side?

We can beat any team on the day, providing: 1. We don't get penalised twice in the first 2 minutes and hang our heads 2. We get better than 50/50 calls from the ref 3. The bounce of the ball goes our way.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

I'm glad he was a "bit ordinary" by his standards at 5/8. Maybe he can now pull his head in a bit and play for the team.

    The Haumole Bible.

He has to gain more consistency. Too often he takes the ball from a standing start, nearly breaking through the line. Give him a few more metres and he is almost unstoppable. Also, he is so preconditioned to offload, hence his arms & elbows stick out all over the place, giving tacklers...

    Pre-Game Tigers v Manly [Round 14, 2022]

Foran, Schuster, Walker = three 5/8ths. Our forwards are carrying Walker in the hope that he actually does get a line break (I.e. before he himself breaks down!) Warriors need his help now!

    The Haumole Bible.

DCE will win plenty more games for Manly, however his absence last night showed he needs to put a new plan in his playbook. "If it's not working, stop running like a headless chook and KEEP IT SIMPLE" There are too many playmakers in the side as it is, so one of them has to put his hand up and...

"Manly push boundaries. Parramatta are disciplined"

They were both standing, face to face, prior to the play the ball. Suddenly an elbow is shoved into Koula's face.

Also, Koula received a deliberate elbow to the nose (claret), whilst standing in front of the Parra. player he just tackled! Clear as!

"Manly push boundaries. Parramatta are disciplined"

SOLUTIONS 1. Bunker to adjudicate on in goal decisions only 2. Touchies to control the lines only, not be 2nd & 3rd refs. Start some HIA retired players to get them into the ranks of referees at a later stage. 3 "6 agains" good for TV stations only. If controlled by ref AND clear signals given...

    BAN the black away strip.

There was, a long time ago, an intelligent Norseman who had seen and done it all. After contemplation of his long life, he gave the advice: "Never wear black on Friday the 13th"
