    This is a good indication of the lack of strength of our forwards, where the halfback has to do more of the tackling. DCE has the highest number of tackles made, and is comparable in missed tackles as other halves. Give him a stronger pack and he won't have a "tackling problem".

    I believe he is trying hard. Certainly putting in the effort, but it is all one-off and disruptive to the team plan. If Des can get him back on line he/we should have a good year. Otherwise, he will score some tries during the year but in a losing team.

    Manly's problem is not necessarily the 1st 20 mins, but the 2nd 20 mins is where they fall down when the bench comes in to play. Basically, we do not have enough good forwards to maintain the effort put in by the starting line up.
