Sea Eagles Paralysed by flawed logic.

https://www.theroar.com.au/2021/04/04/with-the-sea-eagles-paralysed-by-floored-logic-dessie-could-simply-up-and-walk/ Decent article, though I suspect there’s no way des walks away on his own.

    Paul Green

I don’t mind Green. I’d take Drinkwater as depth at fullback, he has moments.

    124 to 12

I’d rather blow outs than artificially close games. The good teams still defend well. It’s just going to take some adjustment.

How Much Longer Will Des Last?

I actually think we are more likely to have success as a club by going all in on Des and his plan rather than keeping our squad and hoping a new coach can fix it all. We've had issues with the culture at the club since Toovey's last season. Things only got worse when TB was here. Des almost got...

How Much Longer Will Des Last?

I’m still backing him to turn it around. At the very least with the guys we have to come back we should be better by the end of the season.

    There's No Time To Mope

We should have signed Mansour, we would have had space. Captain obvious can also see that we needed to sign a proper Hooker. How can other teams have their 3rd string hooker be better than our starter. There’s players in our top 30 who they have no intention (or shouldn’t) of using this season...

    Its that obvious its laughable

We are missing Jorge and Sirro. Both stabilise our defence more than they are given credit for. (Kicks are still an issue). But without Fainu or a proper good hooker we are stuffed.

If True - this is the worst yet !!

We need brown to be the first hit up (or Jorge back for that role). I think Aloia should be starting with Paseka. Marty should move to an edge with Keppie and Toff getting more minutes. Should give us more go forward and Marty might be able to find some form playing like he did at the tigers.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

he’s defending really well and hopefully learning a lot from being out there. Would like to see him learn to run a better line and time it right but that’s always going to be hard for a first year second rower, yet alone one that has come through the juniors in other positions.

Game Day: Manly v Penrith [Round 4, 2021]

At least we know why he kept picking Jorge.

    Sack Suli

Too many players like that in this squad.

    Keppie looks better than Marty.

Thank goodness Cust is on. Better distribution and getting over the advantage line

Has Boyle actually made our defence worse?

Game Day: Manly v Penrith [Round 4, 2021]

No line speed. No tackling in numbers. No kick pressure. Anyone would think these would be the first things to sort out?

Game Day: Manly v Penrith [Round 4, 2021]

2 in the tackle vs 3 in the tackle. Croker can’t wrap up the ball.

Game Day: Manly v Penrith [Round 4, 2021]

2 in the tackle on a standing front rower and Croker runs away from the tackle. Quick play the ball, line break. Useless. So useless.

Game Day: Manly v Penrith [Round 4, 2021]

If our team somehow shows up and plays like they did at the start of 2020 this one could be a belter. I’m desperate to remember the days when I loved coming up against good opposition for the challenge. Hope des has sorted it out.

Mbye signing confirmed! (clearly a joke)

    He's better than Croker.
