    My only memory is we won from 40nil up... and that was against Parra... and even then we didn't win the second half. We didn't win from 14-12 down last Friday. We didn't look like winning against Newcastle. I'm like most of you on this forum: I'm not feeling confident about winning from anywhere...

    The reality is I can live with the loss and not be all torn up inside (like I was last week vs Knights and other teams). The reason being the team turned up to play and I could not fault them with attitude, effort and good ol' entertainment. When I see Manly play like that and still get pipped...

    I decided not to go to the tavern to watch the game - I'm glad I did that. But listening to the game on the radio is also down right depressing. I'm going to watch a movie with my wife and kids.

    So, if i go down to the local Castle Hill Tavern where the game is usually on the big screen, what do I ask the publican to do so he can find the right game on the screen? Does he even have access to this 512 SPEED channel? I've never heard of it.

    Barba is no fluke: every week he is breaking, no, weaving magic to get through the line and finding either himself or a team mate in 'try-time' territory. Somehow, the guy doesn't seem much, is under-estimated, and presumed that he is plain lucky, but he is doing his thing all the time.

    I'm just waiting to hear after another big 'headline-making-Wolfman-comeback', that he has tweaked something and he'll be out for one or two weeks. Some players like Hodgkins, Tuquiri, and Wolfman are all injuries waiting to happen.

    I was thinking Tony Williams looked tired and stiff, almost over weight, if that be possible. He definitely wasn't moving freely. He turned up but not in the mind, he looked elsewhere. Could be hangover from the origin; could be guilt about leaving the club...

    Wolfman back

    Some players just seem to have more bad luck than others. Just when you think the Wolfman can be passed on for a more healthier version he comes back and has a howler and we think we can't win without him. His body is an enigma wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in a mystery.
