Many will not agree but I think we’ll miss Aloiai more than a little. He started the year on fire & each time he’s played has been one of our best props. Sad that his career ends so soon but I wish him the best in his recovery. People need to applaud him & not bag him…..remember he was injured...- madmax

I’d prefer he retire than be forced to retire playing one game too many. Get him on the coaching staff as our defense mastermind in place of Dymock. His attitude would be motivation enough for our forwards to get out there & play hard. I honestly think he’d kill it on the coaching staff. I also...- madmax

Passion for the club
Nice write up mate…..my passion is up & down like a yo-yo the past few years. I know we’ve been stunted in recruitment due to a few over the top contracts. I’m not sure how the club gets back on the front foot. Turbo’s expected re-signing at $300k less, Jurbo hopefully re-signing at $400k less...- madmax

That’s a $300k per year saving. Now for Jurbo to take a huge pay cut (upto $400k) or retire & become our defense coach. With the $500k saved with DCE going, the club could be looking at a minimum $1.2m extra to spend next year!!- madmax

And your point is? Koula is to blame for the loss? Not sure what you’re implying to be honest. Koula was by far our best player on the night & was not the one who missed tackles or didn’t make yards or go into a shell allowing a 16 point lead to evaporate!- madmax

Agree mate…..I wrote ages ago that we should give Lehi a shot at 6!! If Turbo gets injured Koula is the perfect back up. FFS the guy was best on field for Manly the other night. Ran for over 300m. More opportunity in open space & defends well. Lehi lacks speed but would excel at 6! I’d love to...- madmax
