    It's out of left field but I've often wondered if Glenn Stewart would be a good assistant coach. I think he'd have a fair bit to offer tactically, and I get the feeling he might have a similar coaching style as Craig Fitzgibbon. Although, I'm not sure if he left on good terms regarding Penn.

    It would have been interesting to know who made the decision to extend DCE'S contract. He still had almost 2years to run at that stage and I would have thought it more prudent to wait and see. In my eyes it was another strange decision they may come back to bite us over the next few years.

    I'm sorry but what you say is incorrect. I received an email today from Scott Penn stating (and I quote) "We are very committed to inclusion and will not be backing down. Hopefully, we can encourage the entire game to take a proactive stance next year. SP"

    Good aye Woodsie, You know "a group" isn't always a posse of self-righteous people. Maybe it's also worthwhile to ask. Why does a collective feel so strongly about any particular subject? Please correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't seen any sort of "group pile-on" when it comes to inclusion...

    One of my favourite players: he made a few mistakes and had to battle a some demons but he never gave up. I only wish he'd played his entire career in maroon and white.
