As others have mentioned,maybe you should wait until game day,Seebs doesn't name a kid straight up to stop media pressure etc... As to his dummy half play ...He was named ahead of Tong and Lawton in the pre season,however,his form in the trials was very average and it was clear at the start...- Adz

I am just guessing....I wonder if at that mark they move Jamie to dummy half,put Matterson in the halves and just get Navale to tackle in the middle? I haven't seen the games,but would be tough to expect him to pass at dummy half,maybe poor Jamie had to play dummy half/half when Arthur went off.- Adz

I noticed he topped the tackle count from the bench but only had one run,playing hooker would explain it lol. Has Matterson moved to the halves and Jamie playing dummy half,or Navale actually playing as the dummy half passing?- Adz

Interesting with Zane this year,has not been getting many minutes,thought he might with Condon and Parker as the edges. Wonder if he is playing as the fourth middle and getting bugger all time(he is listed as a prop now on his profile),they seem to have 4 running forwards on the bench regularly...- Adz

I have to admit I am concerned NSW has no cover for any backs getting injured,putting Angus into the centres is not ideal. Think the author is overthinking things. Bozo had Manly attacking from everywhere back in the 80's,it worked against most but the best drilled sides they struggled to beat. It is just attacking whenever possible instead of just playing field position.- Adz

2024 Optimist/Pessimist Thread - How are you feeling?
We have beaten the second and third placed teams,in the last three of four weeks we had big leads on the fourth and seventh placed teams and narrowly lost and almost chased down the fifth placed team. Currently sitting 8th,I am feeling ok.......- Adz

I actually don't watch us play live,because I don't want to swear in front of the kids lol. Funnily enough,I like to watch the game the next day,no matter if we won or lost,I find I watch it more closely,analytically and calmly and not letting emotions cloud what I am seeing.
