    I was at North Sydney Oval two weeks to watch the BWSE vs Bears. LG was ineffective and showed little interest or effort. T-Rex showed more ticker and desire than him. Based on what I saw, it’ll be a long long time before he plays NRL for our beloved Eagles again.

    Keep in mind fellow Eagles, we can’t rely on salary cap increases long term. The days of high pay tv deals are gone with Foxtel membership declining due to TV streaming. All codes are now receiving lower deals.

    I'm sorry fellow ST's, but if you take sentiment out of the equation ie Gutho being a local junior, I think his dodgy knees are too big a risk to be blowing $750k/season on a non-specialist 5/8 (if he really is interested in coming back). He is yet to play a full season on NRL due to injuries...
