He was told he wouldn't be playing first grade in the next 2 years and was granted a release. Unlikely he was going to play much with Koula and Garrick in front of him.
He has had a couple of moments of brilliance but hasn't really kicked on as expected.

He racks up big metres as an outside back and has a good strike rate for scoring tries.
I hope Schuster is able to develop some more "grit" in his game. If he could, I could see him being a similar player to Jim Dymock. The thing is, he really needs to roll his sleeves up and do the dirty work. Time will tell.

Fainu is a tricky one. As mentioned elsewhere, he was dropped from all grades for over a month early this year for not meeting expectations. I assume the coaching staff have made a decision based on the impact of dickheads on club culture.

That's the thing mate, no one on here really has a clue what is going on behind the scenes. It sucks losing young talent, but we don't see what happens at training or off the paddock...
