    DCE has been massively flying under the radar with all the Turbo hype. He has been absolutely brilliant on both sides of the ball since our forwards started going forward and the selections on his edge settled in. His kicking game has been amazing as well.

    Have to go wide off the ruck coming from our own end and early in the sets and hit them through the middle on any fast play the balls (the few we will be allowed). The key is to tire their forwards and go through the middle.

    Thoroughly enjoyed that. I much prefer that sort of game rather than the razzle dazzle Vlandys ball that is dominating these days. I thought the refs use of the 6 again was good for a change. We looked clunky, especially when Croker took too many steps or Marty drifted across field.

    i think the Cust injury while Lawton was still out was the best thing that happened to Croker. He simplified things instead of trying to play for a spot and it paid off. He’s no world beater but his progress has been pleasantly surprising. Good on him.
