    Josh Aloiai

It'd be great to get this done by June 30, so we can use the funds for a mid-year recruit.

@Smokin Joe is Christian Taula also a mid season pick up?

Watching the Flegg game and the refereeing is atrocious, the poor manly boys have just been on the end of every penalty it’s borderline cheating by the referee

    2026 recruitment & retention

Are there any rumors circulating about us possibly signing someone before June 30th? Anything????

What’s really killing our 2025 season?

Leave DCE back in Sydney this weekend and let Jake Arthur play. DCE needs to reflect on his personal expectations for this year. I'd rather lose with a halfback willing to give his best than one who doesn't care if we win or lose.

    Wiremu Greig ???

I would consider taking Ryan Matterson if they are looking to offload players.

Be good to see all the NSW Cup players who are eligible for Flegg drop back, will be interesting to see what they can do with a full strength side.

    New Props for this year…

Tuku Hau Tapuha (196cm, 114kg) and Jesse Colquhoun (190cm, 106kg) could be strong picks for us this year. Both are Sharks props stuck behind AFB, Kaufusi, Rudolf, and Hazelton. We need another prop as we're currently lacking depth and talent in that area. Considering NSW CUP and extended NRL...

    2026 halves plan

Use DCE's money re-sign Bully and chase another barnstorming prop. Give Arthur the year and the keys to the team I honestly don't think it will hurt us that much

    2026 halves plan

Is he the long-term answer probably not, but could we do worse? Yes we could. I think if we can't get Fogarty we give Jake Arthur a chance, I don't want us to pay big bucks for a new HB and I sure as hell don't want Reynolds or Foz back unfortunately. Give Jake Arthur the year and maybe Isaac...

    Jamal Fogarty

Sign him up 2-year contract, great replacement can mentor Large and Walsh with their kicking game. I like this a lot to be honest

    2026 halves plan

Just get us through 2026, don't be silly with other half back options and pay overs be patient with the talent we have and if we are unsure go to the market for 2027

    2026 halves plan

I agree not a long-term solution but could just be right to get us through 2026, and watch the development of Large, Walsh, and Dowell hoping one of them shows promise like Galvin. Also remembering Arthur is 22, DCE debuted at 22... Arthur can still improve.

    2026 recruitment & retention

Two emerging teenage halves and a former Canterbury forward headline the list at Manly. The Sea Eagles had to fend off NRL and rugby union rivals to land Onitoni Large, who was one of the most highly-prized emerging talents in either code. The Wests Tigers were disappointed to lose the Junior...

    Siua Taukeiaho Signs

1 year deal I'm happy with the risk. Train and trial deal if his knees are no good, he might not even make it to the top 30 otherwise a good solid experienced head off the bench fingers crossed it works out like Brown did.

    2026 recruitment & retention

Sione Mata'utia, former Knight and St Helens, might be a useful option. I believe he moved into the second rower in England, still only 28, with 200 games of experience, and is coming back to Australia. He could potentially be a better option than Bateman, although I'm not completely off the...
