I agree, the end of game defense was pathetic.
But I think attack let us down more in the first 40 than defense. If our defense hadn't been decent, we would have been down more than 14.
I'm not saying it is dogs standard but I don't think it's been our biggest problem lately.

It seems to me our defense has been better since the rot set in and our attack has been garbage (except when turbo was firing against the panthers).
I remember thinking earlier this year, the other side has the ball near our try line so they are going to score...
Sharks are kicking everything to Tom and running it back is all he's been able to do in attack. It's not his strength. He needs to be involved later in the set.
As a thought experiment, I wanted to see if I could come up with a nsw team with current club fullbacks playing 1 to 7 and ended up with this.
