    Des Hasler Sacked ( AGAIN)

I agree that Des has lost touch but I think Bennett has been working with some pretty average cattle for the last three years. If anything, what he did with the Dolphins was remarkable, given they missed out on almost every marquee signing they went after. This year’s injury toll at Souths is...

    Manly Attacking Formula ?

Defences are so good at the business end of the year, that offloads dry up for everyone regardless. They’re handy but they’re a ‘round’ game phenomenon. Good luck playing the likes of Penrith and Dogs with an offload mentality because you ain’t getting too many.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

The NRL capped football department spending so they would not be paying an assistant and/or specialist coach 700-900k. What they’re probably doing is handing over brown paper bags full of cash 😂

    Caleb Navale

I'm just talking about a bit of mobility and leg speed over the ad line. I guess Bullemor has the leg speed too but does play with more of a bump than an attempt to use mobility to get between defenders and find his front.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten; we're reminded of it every time someone in the media decides to twist the narrative the other way and defend Daly's status as an NRL legend. I'm talking about DCE putting the team on his back. I don't like to diminish his contributions to our success in...

    How do we unlock Koula?

He’s a lot more graceful than Slater, who had a running gate that typically involved over striding; Koula is a genuine sprinter with an effortless gait.

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Yeah I’m pretty much the same as you; massive fan boy for many years. So many great memories. One thing that no one can deny, is he’s entertaining, I.e. his creativity has led to some sublime attacking football over the years. However, when you look at the greats, their finals records speak...

    Caleb Navale

The sad reality is Navale is the type of forward that Canterbury have in abundance; whereas he’s our only middle of this kind and struggles to get game time and minutes. We’d be a much better side with more players in the Navale mould and less of the Lodge prototype. You can see the impact that...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Dolphins [Round 25, 2025]

I like his effort but I thought his defence wasn’t great. In saying that, I think he’s a middle. With leg speed, he can be effective around the middle of the ruck. Just don’t put him in a position to make decisions because he’s about as intelligent as Saab.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly V Dolphins [Round 25, 2025]

Navale’s play the balls were highly effective. It’s not always about metres gained, it’s about finding the front and generating ruck speed.

Game Day: Manly V Dolphins [Round 25, 2025]

There was an earlier opportunity to reach out and score and he surrendered meekly. No football smarts for Saab.

    The BIGgest defensive flaw

Yeah I’ve been noticing the contact has been poor. Simpkin is not a great defensive 9 and is typically dominated. The rest of our middle is pretty mediocre with contact too. TKO can hit but also gives away penalties. The rest are bog average. It’s definitely an area to improve. We also give up...

All NRL Games [Round 25, 2025]

Andrew Johns is blowing up because Crichton’s try was disallowed at the end of the game. His line of argument is ‘how are you supposed to re-grip the ball? If there’s downward pressure, it should be a try.’ 1. Johns is only thinking ‘re-grip’ in the context of Crichton’s one free hand but the...

    Will Croker be back?

He was walking around the Allianz members lounge in his Manly gear with Jake T last weekend. Doesn’t mean much but it’s a sighting so I can confirm he’s still alive!

He’s a better football now than Wighton ever was.

All NRL Games [Round 25, 2025]

I like the way their forwards absorbed the Panthers dominance and didn’t try to play catch up footy. Penrith were the better side for 50 minutes but Canberra never blinked and their pack started to turn the screws and eventually get on top. They’re obviously not just big, but fit.

    Player Agent List 2025

Moses must really be wielding some bargaining power with the likes of Talau and Lodge on his books 😂 Worth noting that Brooks is a Moses client…it’s missing from the list. Also, Peter Gentle. Still, it’s a nothing story.

Are we celebrating 350 ankle taps at the expense of a diving legs tackle this weekend?
