    I guess I was lucky , introduced by Crusher and then sat next to him to watch a busy footy game , no pressure on “ getting a selfie “, “ getting a signature “ . He was a pretty quiet fella , he knew I was a Manly fan but it was a very casual few hours.

    I think at least 2 , I forget exactly. It was a long process , he played one season in the bush for his home town , then went to the SL ( rather than play for the Eels again ), I think the whole thing was 3 years.

    The Panthers were smart , resting players ( losing their last game ) they knew the Wahs were at best , average , they knew they’d get to play the Bulldogs who have been very hot and cold , almost a rails on to the prelim final. They’ll have to play an extra game but maybe that’s not a bad thing.
