praise for "Winning a penalty for his team"

Mate, a lot of smart dummy half runners like to catch offside players on the back foot. Matty ballin and Matai love doing it. It's using the rules to your advantage. I think it's intelligent play.

    Ref Bias

Who's pj lane? And Webster is right, killer needs to be more selective. Although most 50/50 Calls went against us and the refs did everything they could to get the dragons over the line. Their was definitely someone taken out from the charge down. And some of those hand on the ball penalties...

Manly top 10 defense records after 5 rounds

Ridge didn't play the first few rounds because of super league crap in 1996. That's prob the reason we conceded so many points the first few weeks. From memory his first game back was the gf replay against the dogs in which I think we kept them scoreless!! Awesome team.

    Rothfield you are a tool

I love it how Rothfeild is quick to dismiss the gallen rumours in today's papers. Not saying they're true, but if that was any manly player he would have been frothing at the mouth demanding the NRL stood him down.

Who are your top eight sides and why?

Cowboys-last chance b4 thurston leaves Storm-quality in key positions Manly-look stronger up front Souths- inglis and super forwards Knights- mongrel in the forward pack and some handy backs including gagai Roosters-I think Jennings will cut loose with Pearce and Maloney. SBW Sharks- good pack...

Ex Eagle returning to the nest ??? Give us a call Mr Weilder!

Maybe t-Rex but how would we afford him? And how could he get out of his contract? Would be ironic if he had a get out clause!
