10cc had a hit in the 70s that was a misheard quote from a radio where the announcer said; "Life is a mystery". The song writers, Eric Stewart and Lol Creme heard it as "Life is a Minestrone", and it was a hit. I've always heard our team song (not Eagle Rock) as "Up the mighty SeaEagles" just...- Real Deal

This was our time and our place
Was in the Sheridan Stand throughout the 78 Semis (but not the replay or GF). Camped out in front of the gates for the GF. Got punched out by a much older St George fan who pushed in front for the reserve grade GF (I was 14). Other St George supporters redeemed themselves in the early morning...- Real Deal
