02 Sep 03 - Parramatta fullback Ronald Prince is expected to join teammates Daniel Heckenberg and Shayne Dunley at Brookvale next season as the Sea Eagles' latest recruit. 18 Sep 03 - Parramatta has announced that utility back Ronald Prince will stay at the club despite reports he would move to Manly.

04 Sep 03 - An arbitration hearing today is expected to rule on whether Warriors prop Dallas Rennie can play for the Sea Eagles next season after South Sydney claimed he had agreed to terms with them before signing with Manly. 17 Oct 20 - Talented young Kiwi prop Dallas Rennie arrives in Sydney tomorrow to start his new career with the Sea Eagles. Rennie has signed a two year deal with the Sea Eagle.

06 Sep 03 - Dragons Premier League coach Mick Potter said Ian Donnelly assured him that he would be fit to play today in what will be his last game for the Dragons before beginning a two-year tenure with the Sea Eagles.

18 Sep 03 – Manly has signed big centre Paul Stephenson from the Broncos colts and the youngster will be part of the club's top 25 next season. Stephenson hails from Taree on the mid-North Coast of NSW.

Manly playmaker Luke Dorn has been told to look for another club, even though he has another season left to run on his contract. Dorn, considered one of the Sea Eagles' rising stars just a year ago, received the news this week after the club signed Cronulla five-eighth Jye Mullane. Manly's latest signing, Jye Mullane from Cronulla, is one bloke talent spotter Crusher Cleal reckons has a big future.

With Canberra's Michael Monaghan and Welsh international Mark Lennon also joining Manly next season, new coach Des Hasler has a number of other options in the halves.

21 Sep 03 – Manly are poised to release goal-kicking five-eighth Ben Walker from the final year of his contract as the club continues its restructure. Ben Walker is recovering from a knee reconstruction and the Sea Eagles are yet to tell him of his fate.

08 Nov 03 - Kylie Lealuai is the Sea Eagles' latest recruit from Parramatta. Back-rower Nathan Tutt also has joined Manly from St George Illawarra.

10 Dec 03 - Anthony Watmough's "fastest forward in the club" tag is about to be tested after a challenge from Solomon Haumono. The pair will race over 100m within the next week to finally settle the bet. But none of them would get near the club's rookie fullback Brett Stewart. Stewart, a Wollongong Wests junior who made his first-grade debut this year before suffering a season-ending injury, clocked a scintillating 10.7sec for the 100m last week.

11 Jan 04 - Promising Manly hooker Chad Randall is the latest NRL player to be struck down by the groin injury, osteitis pubis. Randall broke down at Manly's first session after Christmas and will undergo surgery on Wednesday. Randall, 23, is seen as one of coach Des Hasler's key weapons.

05 Feb 04 - New Manly coach Des Hasler will make the most radical positional move in the club's recent history by switching 11-year forward and captain Steve Menzies from second-row to left centre. Menzies, 30, will shift wide for the Sea Eagles' three trial matches and stay at centre for the NRL premiership opener against North Queensland in Townsville.

18 Feb 04 - A host of new players will line up for Manly in Saturday night's trial against North Queensland in Cairns. Daniel Heckenberg, Andrew Walker, Chris Hicks, Ian Donnelly and Jye Mullane will all play.

01 Mar 04 - At Brookvale Oval, Manly coach Des Hasler appears to have solved the club's long-running halfback problems with former Raider Michael Monaghan slipping into the role with ease. The 23-year-old initially thought he would struggle to find a niche on the northern beaches but after two trial games for the Sea Eagles is confident of a successful year.

Oh well, I guess we all make mistakes. :D

We would have won the comp if we had managed to sign Ronald Prince.

A masterstroke in the club's history releasing Luke Dorn to sign Jye Mullane.
