3 Favourite Current Manly players

In a team hopefully on the up - well results in 2024 say yes but Im with Bozo on this - I expect more again in 2025....but how do we get there ?
Well the players are obviously a major part of this and we do have some Stars in the side.
Just want to see the various opinions on "Favourite" players....not so much who you think is best, just favourite players and why ?
I'll tee off -

1) Oka - this bloke is blessed with the abilities I personally love in footy, Massive power and a good athlete for such a big man, hits like a truck defensively and busts tackles for fun...
2) Tom T - Just a freakish player who was only at 60% in 2024, but can still carve up any defence and is an excitement machine....just needs to 'stay on the field"
3) Brooks - really grew on me at times, but often went missing also....he made some great head on tackles and when he was in the mood with the running game, lit up the team - expect a bigger 2025 after knowing his mates around him

DCE - I'm proudly the self appointed president of the supposed "Fanboi" club.

Big Ola - just a beast, will only get better when he really appreciates his size/ability.

TomT 2.0 - really enjoying his progress.

On Brooks (as I've mentioned) I bagged him for 10yrs solid but have happily wiped a lot of egg off my face this year.

3) Brooks - really grew on me at times, but often went missing also....he made some great head on tackles and when he was in the mood with the running game, lit up the team - expect a bigger 2025 after knowing his mates around him

Personally I do not believe Brooks is the one to Direct our team around once DCE retires
As you said he Grows but also Goes missing in the Big games
But as always all players have the final say
and I wish all the Manly players success
Because we need to live up to our legendary clubs high Benchmark Premiership winning standards

1. Chez - outstanding player with great hands, an elite kicking game and always makes the big efforts in defence... plus Manly could not ask for a better guy to be the face of our club...

2. Tom - when he is fit and firing he is as good an outside back as the NRL has seen in a long time, 2021 was special... bonus that he's a champion bloke...

3. Difficult one for me...

Jake is a great bloke that does the hard part of the game as well as anyone in the NRL (if not better) and the most genuine NRL player ever... I love the guy but he lacks pace and often stifles our attack (imo)

Koula is exciting to watch and defends above his weight but has generally underperformed this year (imo)

Lehi excites me but small sample size

Guac is a beast but given his size and strength, and depending on you POV, either underachieves or is poorly used...

F*ck it, 3. FROGGY cause he looks like he has been in a car crash every time he comes off the field and never gets any love for it...

Totally agree, but please note Bozo - not Best but favourite...Brooks is not as good as DCE and there's others who are better imo too....I have just taken a liking to the little fella on his Manly journey

Ray may not even feature in NRL but hey it's favourite, not best

The one dimensional tackling Bag Froggy is Done . He has tackled him self to Death
We L V E him for his courage and the way he always tries his best
But the Best chance for our Legendary club Wining another tittle is with a Better hooker that offers more .

Brooks (and DCE) go missing when our forwards go missing and they don't get clean quick ball.. Which is just a little too often, but hopefully will improve.

Toff - funny bloke, love his sense of humour and upbeat personality

Lehi - just a super cool guy

Haumole - extremely skilful but scary and unpredictable - it’s compulsive viewing to see what he’s going to come up with

DCE - the captain of the ship

Turbo - love watching him play when he is as healthy as he can be

Hoppa - he gives me that same excited feeling watching him play that I remember feeling when turbo was in his prime

Talau - exceeded my expectations and he is hot

Guacamole - when he is at his rampaging best, putting on big shots

Jake is a favourite personality wise for me, not a fan of his performance of late but I love his passion and his big teddy bear personality.
