One of the greatest days. Beaver scoring still gets me emotional. No one can ever take that off us.

i was privelaged enough to be at the ground that day. A very drunken and special memory. Was one of the only times my mates were also going for the Eagles, mainly out of respect for beaver. Maybe also a hatred of the cheating storm.

Third best day of my life after 2 kids. Don't tell my wife it beats our wedding day.

Yep. I was there in great seats, thanks to a mate who was an influential media buyer and was gifted them by Channel Nein. Best day of football ever. The bus trip home was surreal. I don't think any of us could actually believe the massive scoreline.
When I got home I watched a replay - without the normal knot in the stomach when watching Manly live.

Yep gave my seats away to a couple of desperate MWTS fans from WA, who only decided to come 2 days out , just hoped the Sea Eagles could help me out , they did, and I ended up right on half way in the middle of all the families of the players, I in fact sat right next to Matt Orfords brother.

Who'll ever forget those scenes ( and a bit of a disaster) outside the Leagues Club, must have been 10,000 wanting to get in.

I was luckily inside as the team came in, never forget Wolfie crowd surfing!!

Went to the match and had a big roast chicken dinner at Star Casino afterwards where I stayed for 2 nights.

I was there too.. Sat so high I had to duck when sputnik went past.. Altitude sickness& bleeding nose did not put a damper on things.. I now check the seating plan before buying tickets. Gold reserve my ass...

Top deck, eastern side. In a similar spot in 2011. Funny thing is I never had a sense that I was watching a game at nighttime, such is the sense of enclosure in that stadium.

I was so high up at the back,I was a danger to aircraft navigation. I was with my then 11 year old daughter. Very special, i didn't relax until we were 20+ up. Beaver's try was hands down the best grand final moment bar none. The only extra thing it needed was some payback for Matt Crocker's hit on Brett the year before. But the scoreline was payback enough.

That's because it was a 5pm Daylight Savings Time kickoff - we were Premiers at 7:35pm

It was a heavily overcast day and it was torrential on the peninsula on the way to the game, but the rain held off in Homebush for Manly

What a day,I was with my daughter and her girlfriend who was going for Melbourne and watching it in my theater room on the big screen. It was the first time in a while when I could watch a game in almost total silence apart from my own screaming and ranting for manly.Never heard a peep from my daughters friend all afternoon.After every try came a drum roll.Many a solo was played that day.

I remember walking out of the leagues club in the early morning with a mate of mine & approached by ch9 for an interview.We were told by workmates & family the same day we had no idea what we were talking about.What did they expect after drinking & celebrating all night.

I got home from Homebush and my neighbours were watching the replay of game in their garage bar, had a beer with them and went to bed. Got up in the morning, took the rubbish out and they were still in the garage watching replays of the game.

I was at the game then one of the 1,000's who tried to get into the leagues club...ended up walking home to manly and watched the game over and over
Up there with the best things I have ever seen (bar kids) in my life
