I don't entirely agree with Kingy saying they definetly turned a corner, too many errors and mistakes. But still its a massive improvement from last month. I just hope they can continue to improve the form for the next couple of months

In that interview Des referred to the oppostion as 'Balmain'. Slip of the tongue? or veiled reference to the Tigers' proud traditions of fighting through injury going back to ... well, 1969?  ;D

Hmm funny that Balmain reference, when I heard it I did a double take, not like Dessie to slip up like that so must have been intentional but not entirely sure what he was having a dig about.  Maybe some olympic divers have originated from Balmain

Balmain Tigers famously won the '69 GF as just about the biggest underdogs ever. They frustrated Souths out of it by constantly having play stopped due to a succession of seriously injured players. Who all - quite miraculously - recovered after a rest! A fine Balmain tradition was born...
